Hueston Woods Covered Bridge Palmer Engineering teamed with Smolen Engineering to design the replacement structure for this deteriorated truss bridge over Four Mile Creek in Preble County. Extensive redesign of the approach roadway was necessary to meet current design standards.

US 460 – Pike County This project won a National Recognition Award in the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) 2016 Engineering Excellence Awards. Palmer Engineering and KYTC District 12 were recognized by the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) for the Pike County, US 460 project, from US 23 south of Pikeville to KY 195 in Marrowbone, which opened to traffic in December 2014. This $250 million project won in the Over $5 Million Construction Improvement Award category in 2015.

Chevy Chase – KY Palmer Engineering prepared a feasibility study to determine the cost and viability of implementing improvements proposed by a group of neighborhood residents for the intersection of Euclid Avenue, Fontaine Street, and High Street.

KY 3005 – White Hall Road This project involves roadway improvements for one mile of White Hall Road, which serves the White Hall State Historic Shrine that includes walking paths and bike paths throughout the historic site.

Amazon Customer Service Center The Amazon Customer Service Center Project included the civil design of a 15.42-acre development that included an 80,000 SF building along with 805 parking spaces, site lighting, signage, entrance, and storm water design.

Foothills Parkway Bridge The Foothills Parkway is a special roadway that was planned to provide panoramic views of the Great Smoky Mountains and to blend seamlessly with the surrounding natural environment.
