Complete Planning and Design
Palmer Engineering was founded to provide roadway and transportation design services. Today the firm remains one of the most experienced providers in the Southeast.
With more than 29 years of project experience to draw upon, Palmer has the expertise to tackle even the most challenging design projects. The firm's locations in Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, Florida, and West Virginia put it in close proximity to thousands of miles of the nation's most vital transportation infrastructure.
Palmer believes that the successful start of any project, regardless of size or scope, begins with thoughtful planning and accurate field surveying. Its designers and environmental team work closely to develop an end product that is both functional and aesthetic.
An in-house survey department reliably supplies accurate field data and ensures each client's project is completed on schedule. Among the crews' state-of-the-art instrumentation are Global Positioning System receivers and advanced total stations. This equipment has built-in interfaces which allow the team to post-process measurements in the field, download them to laptop computers and transfer the data via modems.
Moving people and goods from place to place efficiently and safely is the single most important aspect of our society's physical infrastructure as well as our local, state and national economies. Contact us for more information about our complete transportation planning and design services.
