Phase V Development
Winchester-Clark County Industrial Park
Winchester, Kentucky

Development of a 242-acre expansion to the existing industrial park for the Winchester-Clark County Industrial Authority. The project included field surveys, construction of approximately 9,900 linear feet of 8", 10" and 12" PVC sanitary sewer lines, 5,400 linear feet of 4" and 8" polyethylene force main, 9,900 linear feet of 8" and 12" ductile iron water line, a pumping station, stormwater management, roadway design, and construction inspection. Construction cost was $1.8 million.


Moorewick Way
Louisville-Jefferson County (Kentucky) Metropolitan Sewer District

Palmer Engineering prepared preliminary designs and cost estimates for the construction of sanitary sewers in this Southwestern Louisville neighborhood. The information was then presented to the approximately 350 affected residents for their vote. The residents voted in favor of the project and Palmer was selected to design the sanitary sewers and drainage improvements for the area. The estimated construction cost is $3 million.


Feyhurst Interceptor and Collector
Louisville-Jefferson County (Kentucky) Metropolitan Sewer District

Palmer Engineering prepared the information necessary for approximately 810 residents of this southwestern Jefferson County project area to vote on construction of sanitary sewers. The residents voted in favor of the project and Palmer was selected to design the sanitary sewers and drainage improvements for the area. The estimated construction cost is $5 million.


Moser Road Drainage Improvement
Louisville-Jefferson County (Kentucky) Metropolitan Sewer District
Palmer Engineering prepared the preliminary and final design for drainage improvements along Moser Road in eastern Jefferson County. Deep, hard-to-maintain roadside ditches were replaced with storm sewers, and clogged and silted earth ditches were replaced with concrete swales. Construction cost was $200,000.
