Palmer Engineering conducted an evaluation and repair of the historic Singing Bridge, built in 1893, in downtown Frankfort, KY. Work included a fracture-critical inspection, non-destructive testing of pin connections, Structural Load Rating, and development of repair plans and as-built CADD plans.
The steel bridge has a single 405-foot truss span over the Kentucky River and is eligible for the National Historic Register.
